ACI is currently enrolling dogs in a multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an oral therapy for the treatment of pruritus associated to allergic dermatitis.

Funding

This is a fully funded study.

Is your dog eligible for this study?
Owner Participation / Commitment
  • Eligible dogs will be treated with investigational product or control product for 7 days.
  • Owners must administer the treatment at home and monitor their dogs for the 7 days of treatment.
  • Owners will be required to document daily observations and complete surveys throughout the duration of the study.
  • Dogs must maintain a consistent diet during the study.
Eligibility
  • Body weight: ≥ 3.0 kg
  • The dog is at least 12 months of age.
  • The dog is in overall good health and on an approved flea preventative.
  • The dog was previously diagnosed with allergic dermatitis, or the Investigator determines the dog to have a diagnosis of allergic dermatitis.

The Veterinary Investigator at the study site will determine if your pet meets other eligibility criteria and may enroll in the study.
