
ACI is currently enrolling patients in a multicenter, randomized, masked, placebo-controlled, clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a potential new treatment for canine chronic inflammatory enteropathy (also known as idiopathic inflammatory bowel disease or IBD).

Owner Participation / Commitment
- Owners must be willing to commit to the study visit schedule over a 130-day duration.
- Owners will be required to assess their dogs for clinical signs of CIE and any unfavorable events they experience during the study in an Owner Diary.
Eligibility
- No minimum age or weight for study participation.
- Dogs must have had chronic, intermittent vomiting, diarrhea, inappetence/anorexia, or weight loss for at least 3 weeks prior to the Screening Visit.
- Dogs must have been diagnosed with chronic inflammatory enteropathy based on gastrointestinal biopsies obtained during screening or within 6 months prior to the Screening Visit.
- Dogs must have a Canine Inflammatory Bowel Disease Activity Index (CIBDAI) score of > 4 at the Screening Visit.
The Veterinary Investigator at the study site will determine if your pet meets other eligibility criteria and may enroll in the study.
